These Terms & Conditions explain how the text messaging program of Wilshire Group Financial Services, an Insurance Agency, LLC ("Wilshire Group," "we," "us" or "our") works. By agreeing to receive text messages from us, you agree to these terms.
1. Program description
Wilshire Group Financial Services sends text messages to clients and prospective clients who have agreed to receive them. The messages may include:
- Appointment reminders and scheduling
- Follow-ups on your requests and conversations with us
- Policy servicing, such as application status, document requests and reviews
- Marketing communications, such as information about our services, educational events and workshops
We send marketing text messages only to people who have given us their prior express written consent to receive them.
2. How you opt in
You can agree to receive text messages from us by entering your mobile number and checking the consent box on one of our website forms, or by giving us your written consent directly. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your appointments, your requests and the services you use.
4. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply. Any charges are billed by your mobile carrier, according to your mobile plan. Wilshire Group does not charge for text messages.
5. How to opt out
You can cancel text messages at any time. Reply STOP to any message from us. You'll receive one final message confirming you've been unsubscribed, and after that you won't receive any more text messages from us unless you opt in again. You can also ask us to stop by calling or emailing us.

7. Carrier disclaimer
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by factors outside our control, such as your coverage or your carrier's network.
8. Your mobile number
By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder for the mobile number you gave us, or are authorized to use it, and that you are at least 18 years old. If you change or give up your mobile number, please let us know so we don't send messages meant for you to someone else.
9. Keep sensitive information out of texts
Text messages are not a secure way to share sensitive information. Please don't text us Social Security numbers, account numbers or medical information. Call us instead and we'll arrange a secure way to share them. Text messages are not for emergencies.
10. Privacy
Your SMS opt-in information and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. To learn how we collect, use and protect your information, see our Privacy Policy.
11. No advice by text
Text messages from us are for scheduling, servicing and general information only. They are not investment, tax or legal advice, and they are not an offer of or a guarantee of insurance coverage. Coverage begins only when a policy is issued by the insurance company.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
